Jessie J Goes Straight - Says She's No Longer Bisexual

The pop star clarified that her bisexuality was "a phase" and that she's now looking for a husband.

Unfortunately, it looks like none of us will be Jessie's girl any time soon.

British pop singer Jessie J, best known for looking a bit like Katy Perry and singing about a "Domino," retreated into the nearest closet last night in a now-deleted tweet and clarifying matters with The Mirror today.

“For me, it was a phase,” she told the Mirror. “But I’m not saying bisexuality is a phase for everybody. I feel that if I continue my career not speaking on it, I almost feel more of a liar than if I didn’t. I just want to be honest."

On her Twitter account last night, the 26-year-old said that she dates "men and only men.” Back in 2011, she told The Telegraph that she had "been with boys and ... with girls." While performing in the U.K. in 2011, she affirmed herself as bisexual in a shout to the crowd.

But last night on Twitter, she said that she had only been in one relationship with a woman -- otherwise, she was purely heterosexual. In her interview with the Mirror, Jessie refused to label her sexuality and admitted that all she wants is a man to put a ring on it.

“I don’t regret anything I ever said, but I never knew back then that whatever I said became a fact that I couldn’t change," she said of her previous label. "I’m just so bored of it, and that’s kind of it –- I want to stop talking about it completely now and find myself a husband."

If Twitter reaction is any indication, Jessie J's fans might feel differently about regrets:
