Zac Efron-less 'Hairspray' is NBC's Next Live Musical

Remember when Zac Efron was in 2007's movie musical Hairspray? Of course you do. Well, NBC is continuing the live musical trend (they've already done The Sound of Music, Peter Pan and The Wiz) with a live version of Hairspray. But don't expect to see Zac (or his abs) in this go-around.

Although, showrunners have said they wouldn't be opposed to John Travolta reprising his role as Edna Turnblad. Eh. Sure.

The TV event won't air until December, so, in the meantime, here's some Zac to tide you over:
