This past Friday, RuPaul's Drag Race season 9 runner-up Peppermint and openly gay rapper Cazwell released a music video for their song "BLEND," off of Cazwell’s fourth, upcoming EP.

The song, which opens with real news segments about transgender murders, bathroom policies, and Trump’s ban on military servicemembers, quickly turns into a empowering anthem for all LGBTQ people, especially transgender individuals.

The song is titled "BLEND" because as the trans icon says herself, "I’m so done trying. My heart will transcend, and I’m never going to blend."
