This week is full of new releases from LGBTQ+ artists that will make you dance hard, have fun, deeply reflect, or simply enjoy new vibes!
Last week, we celebrated the release of Omar Apollo’s debut album, Ivory (Marfil), with his latest single “Pretty Boy.” There are current rumors that Apollo’s new album might be about Frank Ocean, but it’s all speculation among fans for the time being. Whatever the case may be, we’re happy to listen to the music and enjoy the album. Brazilian drag queen Aretuza Lovi also made waves last week for releasing the first part of her new album, Borogodó, with a new single titled “Drama.”
In the last few weeks, pop legend and huge LGBTQ+ ally Carly Rae Jepsen dropped a music video for “Beach House” that left the girls, gays, and thems thirsty for more! In the midst of her entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Shea Couleé also dropped a double music video for her new singles “Let Go” and “Your Name.” Last but certainly not least, queer music lovers were left gagging for Madonna’s latest collaboration with Saucy Santana in the “MATERIAL GWORRLLLLLLL!” remix.
This week, we are highlighting the new singles from Panic! At The Disco’s new album Viva Las Vengeance and from Demi Lovato’s new album Holy Fvck. Otherwise, we’re enjoying new songs and music videos from artists like Peppermint, Riotron, and Chloe Moriondo, among others.
