Interview: Kathy Griffin Dishes on 'SVU' Lesbian Role

As we reported earlier this week, D-Lister comedian Kathy Griffin is set to guest star on the March 3 episode of "Law & Order: SVU," playing a lesbian activist. On Friday, NBC released an interview with Griffin, who explains her character - Babs Duffy - in detail. Griffin's character is seen forcing a kiss on Mariska Hargitay's character.  Griffin explains that her character was referred to as "A lesbian Al Sharpton." Watch the video here. 

As we reported earlier this week, D-Lister comedian Kathy Griffin is set to guest star on the March 3 episode of Law & Order: SVU, playing a lesbian activist. As we all know, Griffin's character is seen forcing a kiss on Mariska Hargitay's character.

On Friday, NBC released an interview with Griffin, who explains her character - Babs Duffy - in detail and talks about the shooting process. Griffin explains that her character was referred to as " A lesbian Al Sharpton."

And when it came to living the A-List lifestyle, the comedian says she felt like "a fish out if water" and she "might as well have gills."
