Kate Moennig's 'Three Rivers' On Life Support

Kate Moennig and the rest of the cast of Three Rivers won't be scrubbing in regularly for now. CBS has yanked the transplant hospital drama from its Sunday night slot. The network will replace the Alex O'Loughlin led show with a crime drama. Or here's a thought, CBS could write in a lesbian storyline for Moennig's Miranda Foster, and the show could get a shot in the arm from gay female fans.

Kate Moennig and the rest of the cast of Three Rivers won't be scrubbing in regularly for now. CBS has yanked the transplant hospital drama from its Sunday night slot, according to The Hollywood Reporter's James Hibberd.

Beginning Dec. 6, the network will fill the Alex O'Loughlin led freshman medical drama's slot with an "unspecified crime drama," according to THR.

The network swapped Three Rivers' Sunday night 9 p.m. slot with Cold Case's 10 p.m. slot in mid-November.

While the network intends to finish shooting the show's 13-episode order, no final decision has been made about the show's fate, according to network sources.

Rivers has been a virtual ratings bomb, ranking 41st on network television in early November with 7.9 million viewers.

Just a thought....
