Leisha Hailey's 'L Word' Spin-Off NOT Coming to Showtime!

It’s a sad day for millions of loyal L Word fans.

Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and the Advocateare all reporting the future of The Farm-- the L Word spin off that’s been dangled in front of fans for so long-- is uncertain.

Showtime has passed on the pilot starring Leisha Hailey, Famke Janssen, Laurie Metcalf, and Meissa Leo.  The show centers on a women’s prison, where Alice (Hailey) has been sent, assumedly for murdering Jenny Schecter.

No word on whether The Farm, created by L Word mastermind Ilene Chaiken will be picked up by another network.
