The View's acerbic funny lady Joy Behar admitted to Barbara Walters that she and her long-time boyfriend Steve Janowitz might finally get married.
On Walters' SIRIUS XM Radio show Tuesday, Behar, 66, explained that her friends, a lesbian couple, inspired her to consider marrying Janowitz, Perez Hilton reported.
"Somebody that I know lost her partner. They were gay women. And the partner was in the hospital, and she had to pretend that she was her sister in order to really deal with stuff," Behar told her The View boss. "I don't want that to happen to us ... and I also just feel that I want to."
At that point, Walters offered to pick up the tab for Behar's wedding. "I could give you the wedding," Walters said. "How many people do you want?"
"I don't know. How many can you afford?" Behar joked.
"What I would like to do on The View is announce it after I do it if you don't mind," Behar finally said.
