Susan Boyle, the Internet singing sensation, pulled out of the
Britain's Got Talent road show on Sunday after doctors ordered her to rest, according to
Dlisted.
The spokesperson for BGT said, "She has been advised to rest today. She has done three amazing performances but she is being advised to rest. She is really disappointed because she wants to be out there performing but she has been advised to have this rest. She sends her sincere apologies to her fans for not appearing in Manchester."
The Scottish singer, who missed two weekend performances on the
Britain's Got Talent live tour, was originally scheduled to sing in a matinee and evening show Sunday at the Manchester Evening News Arena, but did not perform.
Just two weeks ago Boyle checked into a private clinic suffering from exhaustion, having difficulty coping with the immense pressure and public interest in her.
She is reportedly set to return to the stage for tonight's show in Glasgow.
The show's spokesperson said "She had one rest day, but she will be back on stage tonight," adding that she expected Boyle to take part in the rest of the tour, which runs until early July.
