George Conway had been offered a plum position in Trump's Department of Justice. Thing is? He turned it down.
Say what!?
If this were The Godfather, Mr. Conway could've very well woken up to a horse's head in his bed the following morning.
The press had a field day (us included) with the news of this high-level snub. But the fun is just beginning.
You see, George Conway just subtweeted the President, and threw some Twitter shade while he was at it.
“These tweets may make some ppl feel better, but they certainly won't help OSG get 5 votes in SCOTUS, which is what actually matters. Sad. https://t.co/zVhcyfm8Hr”— George Conway🌻 (@George Conway🌻) 1496675475
... excuse us, Mr. Conway?
Someone, somewhere, just yelled "OH SNAP!"
He even threw in a "sad," as if he was imitating the President who just can't keep his lips buttoned when he's trying to accomplish something.
In this instance, Conway is specifically supporting the heinous travel ban (which Trump himself called "watered down.") So it's not like Conway is a hero of any sort.
But what he has done is called attention to himself. How will Trump respond? What happens next!?
The folks on Twitter had their own passionate responses to Conway's shade.

So where do we go from here?
Will Kellyanne pay for her husband's shade? Will he pay? Will Trump even notice? Will the tweet disappear in an hour?
Stay tuned!
