It's well-documented that rapper Kanye West is a fan of President Donald Trump. His support came to a head this past weekend when he used his musical guest spot on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live to make a speech about his love for 45, and then took to Instagram to post a photo of himself wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat while talking about how the 13th Amendment (you know, the Constitutional amendment that ended slavery) should be abolished.
Well, echoing the sentiments of a lot of his former fans, indie pop singer Lana Del Rey (who People points out sang at Kanye and Kim Kardashian's wedding back in 2014) decided to finally call out the rapper after his Instagram post and for his continued support of Trump.
"Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support of him is a loss for the culture," she wrote in a comment. "I can only assume you relate to his personality on some level. Delusions of grandeur, extreme issues with narcissism—none of which would be a talking point if we weren’t speaking about the man leading our country."
She continued:
"If you think it’s alright to support someone who believes it’s OK to grab a woman by the pussy just because he’s famous—then you need an intervention as much as he does—something so many narcissists will never get because there just isn’t enough help for the issue."
