Donald Trump just added another unqualified politician to his Cabinet by picking Robert F Kennedy Jr. to head up the Department of Health and Human Services because who better to be in charge of American's health than an anti-vaxxer?
On Thursday, Trump announced his newest pick but forgot to mention that Kennedy's only qualification for the position is that he's a semi-expert on brain worms, having had one for years. Not only doesn't he have the experience necessary to run such a complicated arm of the U.S. government, but he's an outspoken anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist who would look more at home in a tinfoil hat than the jeans he wears to work out in.
Kennedy wasn't the only head-scratching addition to Trump's administration this week. He also picked a Fox News host to be his secretary of defense, real-life Cruella de Vil Krisit Noem as secretary of homeland security, alleged sexual abuser Rep. Matt Gaetz as attorney general, and conspiracy theorist and Russian propaganda spreader Tulsi Gabbard as director of national security.
It's like Trump wants to create a supergroup, but instead of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, he picked all of the most incompetent fraudsters ever to grace Capitol Hill. The scary part is there are still positions left that he can fill when even more idiots. Why not collect them all?
