I received an email from a 15-year-old trans guy named Levi who wanted some advice on coming out. I've been on the fence about what I should say and I know a lot of people are going to disagree with what I have to say, but I'm going to say it because I believe that he needs to hear it.
First of all, as cliche as it sounds, you're still very young, Levi. I want to say that one thing you need to know is if you don't start your transition now, if you are not able to, if you can't afford to do it, if life happens and you can't do it, you're not a failure. That is something that a lot of people feel. That is absolutely not true.
