As if we couldn't love Emma Watson even more than we already do, the longtime actress and outspoken activist took to Twitter today to remind people that transgender rights are human rights.Â
According to a report by Refinery29's Nick Levine, "Watson's show of support comes as UK trans rights activists are urging members of the public to suggest improvements to the Gender Recognition Act 2004 (GRA), a once-groundbreaking piece of LGBT equality legislation that allowed people with gender dysphoria to change their legal gender."
But this isn't the first time Emma has taken a stand for an awesome cause. The Beauty and the Beast star is well-known for her feminism and currently serves as a Women's Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations.
She also serves as the public face of the UN's HeForShe campaign, a movement that calls on men to help promote gender equality.
