Blue Is the Warmest Color's stars should absolutely land Oscar nominations.

It’s January, which means that awards’ season is in full swing, and the marketing machine at IFC films is pushing for an Oscar nomination for Adèle Exarchopoulos, the break-out star of the epic lesbian-themed love story Blue Is the Warmest Color. She and her costar Léa Seydoux absolutely deserve nominations for their fearless, revelatory performances (IMHO), but it could be a long shot considering the Palme D’Or winners were not nominated for Golden Globe Awards, although the film was nominated for a Best Motion Picture Drama Globe.

The “for your consideration” push for Blue includes a brand new red band trailer with commentary from its stars!
