It’s a big week for Ellen DeGeneres, who’s hosting the Oscars for the second time this weekend. She sat down with out Good Morning America host Robin Roberts to discuss, not only the big night, but her professional and personal life, including her marriage to Portia de Rossi.

“I can’t expect everyone to love me and like everything I do. I just want people understand me and to get me and know what my intentions are,” Ellen told Robin. “And my intentions are to make people happy, and my intentions are to never hurt anybody, and my intentions are to have compassion and to hope I can spread that a little bit every single day."

We can’t wait to see what brilliant silliness Ellen has to offer at the Oscars this Sunday! Here’s her interview with Robin.
