Australian media powerhouse Ginni Saraswati recently interviewed SheWired's editor-in-chielf, Tracy E. Gilchrist, for her November pop culture podcast. The two women talked about the upcoming flm Carol, a '50s-era drama directed by Todd Haynes about the relationship between an older woman and a young shopgirl. The film stars award-winnning actresses Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara (if you haven't seen the gorgeous trailer, check it out here).
In the podcast, they also discuss last month's Freeheld starring Julianne Moore and Ellen Page, and the two ways these films tackle relationships between with a signifcant age difference.
"I've seen Carol, and it met every expectation. And my expectations were high," Gilchrist told Saraswati.
