WATCH: Go Behind the Scenes of Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair Shoot

Yesterday, Vanity Fairreleased the cover for their July issue, featuring a stunning Caitlyn Jenner as photographed by Annie Leibovitz. The issue - available on stands June 9th - features an extensive and emotional 22-page piece on Caitlyn and her family, collected over three months by Vanity Fair contributor and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Buzz Bissinger. 

Included in the hugely informative, heart-wrenching article is a short video of backstage clips showing other outfits and angles that are just as beautiful as Jenner's cover photo. Scenes are paired with Jenner's own commentary about finally being free where she imparts, "Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I'm free."

Also definitely worth a read is Laverne Cox's moving and informative Tumblr post on her thoughts on Caitlyn's cover, as well as the importance of supporting the entire trans community. And don't use a 'too long;didn't read' excuse here! It's a fantastic and eloquent statement that needs to be out in the world.
