Beyoncé’s most recent studio album, 2016's critically-acclaimed Lemonade, wasn’t a regular pop record filled with the usual dance hits. It was personal, raw, and visceral, and showed listeners a vulnerable side to Queen Bey that we had never seen before, while detailing her experiences as a Black woman.
But even with all that she revealed about her personal life in Lemonade, (along with the journey of her album, from idea to final product) much was kept a secret.
Until now.
Yesterday, Beyoncé released a 600-page book entitled, How to Make Lemonade, which goes behind the scenes of what went into creating Lemonade. The book has exclusive photos, outtakes, and various other forms of art that elucidates her use of fashion and iconography to further convey her powerful messages.
Sadly, the book will set you back a pretty penny. The collector's edition of How to Make Lemonade is available for pre-order for $299.99 on Beyoncé's official website, here. (So start saving your coins if you want to get your hands on this book!)
