Is Twitter Censoring Bisexual Content? AGAIN?!

Really, Twitter?? REALLY??

Back in 2017, controversy erupted after many Twitter users noticed that the #Bisexual hashtag was allegedly being censored

Well, it looks the social media giant is up to some of their old tricks, only this time, it's with the hashtag #20BiTeen (a play on 2019, similar to 2018's "20gayteen").

Twitter user @LarkerAnthology pointed the alleged censorship out, noting how photos or videos with the hashtag #20BiTeen haven't been displaying for days, and that there has been no official explanation or apology from Twitter as to what's going on.

Luckily, people are catching onto the alleged blocking of bi content and signal boosting the news, including Madam Secretary star and openly bisexual actress and activist Sara Ramirez.

Twitter issued a response to the initial censorship issue back in 2017, saying that "a technical issue that affected search results" was the reason why "searches for certain words related to sexuality did not populate complete results."

At the time of reporting, however, Twitter has yet to say anything about why photo and video content for #20BiTeen is not being displayed for people who search for it now.
