SheWired's Shot of the Day: Lea Michele Works a Sweater Set

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value.“In an industry where girls are expected to look and act a certain way, she isn’t afraid to be her own person. She inspires me,” out costar Jonathan Groff said of Michele, Glamour's cover girl.

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our favorite shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because…

Glee star Lea Michele graced Glamour magazine’s cover and showed off her amazing petite figure in a bombshell photo spread. Repeating her incendiary GQ photo session wardrobe choice, Michele poses in her underwear, this time with a sweater on, too, for the ladies mag.

Michele gushed about her fellow Glee castmates Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, and co., exclaiming, “They are my family, honestly. I don’t have family in L.A. If I didn’t have them…I love my cast.” And this season’s scripted rivalry with Mercedes couldn’t be further from the truth of Lea’s own real-life relationship with Amber Riley: “We’re both big personalities, and you definitely would think we’d bump heads. But she has taught me more about myself than anyone. She inspires me, she protects me, she makes me laugh, she tells me not to take myself so seriously. She’s my Mama Amber.”

Out costar Jonathan Groff said of the driven starlet, “In an industry where girls are expected to look and act a certain way, she isn’t afraid to be her own person. She inspires me.”

And just like Michele’s personal hero, Barbra Streisand, her talent and ambition have earned her a bit of a reputation. As far as diva attitude goes, Michele says, “Women in powerful positions get labeled with the D word, but you have to use your diva-ness for good as a way to show your strengths.”
