While Apple's release of the iPhone 4S earlier this year was a little dissatisfying to those Apple fans anxiously awaiting an iPhone 5, the introduction of Siri – a sort of virtual assistant, if you will – seems to have squashed all feelings of disappointment. Siri makes everything a user does on the iPhone easier, including making appointments, taking notes, sending texts, Tweeting or posting to Facebook, checking the weather and more.
Just tell Siri what to do, and she does it. Whether you’re a high school student in a small town or a big-time star like Ellen DeGeneres, give Siri the instruction, and watch her work her magic (well, tech magic).
Ellen has the latest version of the iPhone, complete with Siri, who just so happens to be so intuitive that she recognizes the star’s voice. But that’s not all. Siri – of course, being so smart – uses her power to talk back to the talk show host, asking for tickets to the 12 Days of Giveaways shows Ellen hosts each season.
