Santana's Big Brother to Be Played by Pitbull on 'Glee?'

Glee is as good as it gets when it features McKinley High’s lesbian Cheerio Santana (Naya Rivera), and the great news is that she’s got a big arc coming up in an episode in early January. Just last week it was announced that superstar Gloria Estefan would be playing Santana’s mother, and now rapper Pitbull is in talks to play her brother.

Glee is as good as it gets when it features McKinley High’s lesbian Cheerio Santana (Naya Rivera), and the great news is that she’s got a big arc coming up in an episode in early January. Just last week it was announced that superstar Gloria Estefan would be playing Santana’s mother, and now rapper Pitbull is in talks to play her brother, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In Glee’s recent episode entitled “I Kiss a Girl” Santana was forced to come out after Finn (Cory Monteith) outed her in the hall at school -- a tidbit that became the main focus of a political attack ad against Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). In the episode, Santana dropped that she came out to her parents and that they were fine with her being gay, but her “Abuela” later shunned her.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of a big brother Pitbull, known for his hits “Krazy” and “I Know You Want Me,” will play. Here’s hoping he’s the protective kind who gives Finn hell for outing his baby sis.
