Fans of Showtime's The Real L Word are definitely familiar with the show's infectious theme song "Hazy," by LA-based band Love Darling. For those of you who didn’t know, Love Darling's guitarist/vocalist Shay Magro, is happily engaged to Whitney's wise roomie Alyssa Morgan.

Love Darling has entered Cabo Wabo’s 2012 Your Shot to Rock contest by KROQ, and they need your votes!

Start by opening the contest page on KROQ’s website. Log in your birthday, go to Love Darling's track “Little Black Dress” and click like! Its that easy.

Again, click here, enter your birthday, go to Love Darling’s “Little Black Dress” and click “like.”

The top 10 bands will be posted on June 18, and listeners can pick their favorites from the narrowed list. The band with the most votes will open the KROQ Locals Only Stage at Lobsterfest in San Pedro on September 14.

The song “Little Black Dress” is a debut single from Love Darling’s new album The Occupant Theory, which debuts May 29. You can pre-order the new album on Love Darling’s website.
