'Pretty Little Liars' Star Lucy Hale Gets Album Deal with Hollywood Records

Lucy Hale, aka Pretty Little Liars’ Aria Montgomery, has landed a record deal with Hollywood Records, the tween-friendly label behind hits from Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus an Selena Gomez & The Scene.

Lucy Hale, aka Aria Montgomery on ABC Family's LGBT-friendly hit Pretty Little Liars, has landed a record deal with Hollywood Records, the tween-friendly label behind hits from Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus an Selena Gomez & The Scene.

Lucy is no stranger to the world of music – just listen to her song “Bless Myself” from ABC Family’s movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song.

“I’m overjoyed and honored to become a member of the Hollywood Records family,“ Lucy said in a statement. She also thanked all the people involved in the deal for the opportunity “to show a whole different side of myself, which is a huge passion for music.”

Lucy’s interest in a serious music career came from Britney Spears’ video for “Baby One More Time,” according to JustJared. While Britney may have inspired the 22-year-old actress to get a music career going, Lucy won’t be joining her on the pop charts. Instead, the Memphis, Tennessee native is keeping with her country roots for the album which is due out sometime in 2013.

Until her single and record come out next year, enjoy the video for Lucy’s “Bless Myself” from A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song below:
