Grey’s Anatomy’s evil genius creator Shonda Rhimes is the queen of the slow release of information, so we take every crumb of news we get about the beloved lady docs Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw).
Last week’s 9th season premiere introduced an entirely new tragic storyline for Calzona revealing in the final four minutes of the show that Arizona had lost her leg in last season’s plane crash that killed Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and eventually Mark (Eric Dane).
While the first 30-second teaser for this week’s episode implied that Arizona would be at odds with her wife Callie for allowing her Arizona’s leg to be amputated -- Callie is a brilliant ortho surgeon after all – now Grey’s has a super trailer for the upcoming episode that reveals all that happened in the aftermath of the crash, and there are some supercharged moments between the couple, including a scene in which Arizona begins to "crash."
