The creators of the Nikki & Nora:N&N Files put out the call on Indiegogo, and fans made it happen, surpassing a goal of 50K by $15 thousand. Now, the first teaser for the lesbian-themed Big Easy cop series starring Christina Cox and Liz Vassey, is out and we can’t wait for the series to air!
Nikki & Nora have a storied history that dates back to 2004—when there were very few lesbians on network TV--when a pilot for the series about lesbian private investigators navigating work and each other in New Orleans, was in serious consideration for a network slot. The pilot was not picked up, but Nikki & Nora spawned fangirl fiction for the decade to come. Creator Nancylee Myatt (South of Nowhere, 3Way, Cowgirl Up) and tello Films have teamed up to revive the legendary duo in a web series coming soon.
Vassey (CSI, Necessary Roughness) plays Nikki Beumont while Better than Chocolate’s Cox plays Nora Delany.
