Linda Hamilton will join the cast of Weeds for its sixth season as Linda, a lesbian drug dealer, according to an article in Entertainment Weekly.
Hamilton's character and her partner will help Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) as Nancy and her family try to escape from the mafia. Nancy will spend a majority of the season on the run because of a crime her youngest son commits.
The show released an extended trailer, in which Nancy offers to give Linda "special favors" in exchange for her assistance. Â Â
Hamilton is not signed to be a cast member, but will appear for an extended number of episodes.
