The super successful actress and singer from the Bronx, Jennifer Lopez, is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of the hit CBS show How I Met Your Mother.
Lopez will be featured opposite out series star Neil Patrick Harris heavily in her role as Anita Appleby. Her character is a straight-talking self-help guru who commits to counseling Barney and breaking his bad-boy behavior as the series’ resident cad. J-Lo made a memorable appearance on Will & Grace.
“We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred,” series executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays joked.

Another music mega-babe, Carrie Underwood, recently wrapped a gust role as a flight attendant on the popular prime time program that was just announced as returning for a sixth season. HIMYM costars Josh Radnor, Jason Segal, Canadian fox Cobie Smulders and Buffy The Vampire Slayer alum Alyson Hannigan.
OC hottie Rachel Bilson and Britney Spears have previously appeared in guest starring roles on the show.
