April 17 the women will take a break from their busy standup tours to treat fans to a special show -- Back 2 Back -- at the St. Georges Theater in Staten Island, New York.

The show will benefit the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, which works to fight breast cancer and improve women's health, and Community Health Action of Staten Island, which helps individuals, families and communities challenged by health disparities related to poverty, discrimination, and lack of access.

Tomlin etched her name in entertainment history in 1969 when she joined the Laugh-In sketch comedy show on NBC where Ernestine, the telephone operator, and Edith Ann, the five-year-old in the huge rocking chair were born. Since then she has appeared on stage and in numerous films and TV shows in a variety of both dramatic and comedic roles. She has won two Tonys, two Peabodys, six Emmys and a Grammy. Fans will remember her in the film Nine to Five, and her TV appearances in Murphy Brown, Will and Grace, The West Wing, Desperate Housewives and most recently Damages.

Clinton, who describes herself as a "fumerist" - a feminist humorist -  began her career on 1981 and has since provided the world with a running commentary on the absurdities of politics and world events.  She has written three books, appeared on TV, in the movies and on stage and has received numerous awards for her tireless work for the LGBT community. She is currently appearing across the US and Canada with her 2010 Lady HaHa standup tour and busily vlogging, blogging and writing columns.

"Lily and I have performed very impromptu at a fund raiser and we had a blast and then we did a more formal show in Provincetown," Clinton explains. "Then we decided to take it on the road and see what we could do. It will be in Staten Island in a beautiful old theater... St. George Theater... and it's a benefit and it will just be fun... I'll do 45 minutes and Lily will do 45 minutes and then we'll come back together and take questions from the audience."

Tickets for the Back 2 Back show are available at www.stgeorgetheatre.com (718-442-2900) and atwww.ticketmaster.com (212-307-7171).
