Salacious Shot of the Day: Julianna Margulies on the Cover of 'W'

While we admittedly have no idea when this smokin' cover of Julianna Margulies on W hit the stands, it's a hands-down winner for our shot of the day since it stopped us in our tracks and the only other real option was Christina Aguilera's latex bondage cat suit ala Gaga or Madonna that left us pondering the simulacrum. Xtina may be a copy of a copy of a copy but Julianna is an original. The Golden Globe winning 'The Good Wife' star looks hotter than ever. Good news for her lesbian fans...

There is typically a moment in every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw all of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and begin posting our fave salacious shot of the day.

Xtina may be a copy of a copy of a copy but Julianna is an original. The Golden Globe winning The Good Wife star looks hotter than ever on and in W magazine, although there is one inner photo in which she does appear to be channeling Idina Menzel in Wicked (sans green tint).

The W spread could only be steamier if she and Good Wife costar Archie Panjabi donned latex business suits and played naughty attorney and investigator....with Christine Baranski litigating.

Since we don't have the inner W photos, here's Julianna locking lips with Kyra Sedgwick in What's Cooking? Some things are just timeless...
