There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because...
As fans of smart, talented women, we at SheWired have had a long admiration for Academy Award winning actress Reese Witherspoon. Known for her accessibility and adorable charm, Witherspoon, a real life mother of two who just got married for the second time, is also a full-blown foxy blond who graces the cover of Elle UK.
Witherspoon’s charisma jumps off the page, as she offers only a sexy stare and a whole lot of leg in the mag.
Gearing up for the release of Water For Elephants, co-starring Robert Pattinson, Witherspoon shared with the magazine her thoughts on competitive negativity and the harsh judgments that pervade our celebrity-worshipping culture.
“How hard we are on people who are just doing their best. When we start measuring women on their appearance … We’re just too hard on each other. Women need to be more supportive of each other, stop tearing each other apart. There’s plenty of room for all of us… There’s plenty of jobs. There’s plenty of room! I really believe it. Another actress out there has a number-one movie? They’re going to make more movies about women. A female writer sells a script? They’re going to look at another script from another woman. The better one woman does, the better all women do.”
We’re with Reese, more power to all women.
