Nico Tortorella (star of TV Land's Younger) opened up about being sexually fluid recently, and his comments are pretty badass. According to Huffington Post, during a Pride event Nico got candid about his sexuality, saying “It’s just a fluidity. . . We’re all kind of moving into this one situation." However, Nico isn't officially 'coming out,' stating, "I think it’s one thing to hide. . it’s one thing to come out of the closet in a public statement...But I’ve always done me and never been shy."
Speaking on The Drop-In with Will Malnati's June 9th podcast, Nico declared, “I don’t see the world as gender binary — man, woman. There’s a whole spectrum of people that fit into all of it, and I’ve dated all of them, a lot of them...It’s not about sex for me. It’s about being totally emotionally connected to somebody.” He thinks of himself as "label-less," and is currently in a relationship with a woman, who, according to this statement, is likely pretty in pretty good hands: “I don’t focus on what you have between your legs, because whatever you’ve got, I’m gonna make it work." Sounds good to us!
Nico is currently developing a TV show focusing on gender and sexuality, and we're so excited to see what he's got to share with us next. For now, he leaves us with this message, captioned "call me whatever you want, just call me. #niconiconico:"
You go, Nico!
