In Hollywood, pseudobutts are totally a thing.
Tom Cruise is one of Hollywood's biggest stars, but even he, on occasion, requires the help of physical... enhancement.
Exhibit A: from the true story Hitler assassination attempt thriller (and one of my personal favorites) Valkyrie:
Let's take one more look at the most... impressive... frame in the shot.
Why would Cruise gird his loins in such a fashion? Is it a cosmetic choice? Possible, I suppose, but in this instance our wise, Yoda-esque guide (handle: @iluvbutts247 obvz) believes the gluteal enhancement is for the purposes of stunt work. Cruise famously insists on doing as many of his own stunts as possible, and sometimes a righteous stunt involves landing on one's bottom.
Some manage this better than others.
There is some debate on the topic, however, and in fairness it's worth considering the following before watching that Cruisian bum rising once again.
