The Captain America star took to Tamron Hall's talk show to address the elephant trunk in the room.

Just in case you were living under a rock and weren't aware, our Captain America and Knives Out king Chris Evans effectively broke the internet over the past weekend after accidentally leaking his own explicit pics on his Instagram story...

While the whole thing was totally an accident, and his fans (as well as his famous friends and family) came to his support, it's understandable that Chris probably felt a little embarrassed about the entire situation (I know I sure as hell would be!). But in an effort to be a good sport about the whole gaffe, the 39-year-old actor made an appearance on Tamron Hall's talk show yesterday and finally addressed the whole thing head-on!

"You know, things happen It’s embarrassing. You gotta roll with the punches," Chris told Tamron during their interview. "I will say, I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support."

In an effort to bring even more positivity to the entire situation, Chris also tweeted out a cheeky message urging people to go vote in November's upcoming (and crucial) Presidential election.

"Now that I have your attention...VOTE Nov 3rd!!!" Chris wrote alongside a faceplant and shrug emoji.

But leaked pics weren't the only thing he and Tamron talked about! Chris also dove into his new bipartisan political project, A Starting Point, and shared memories about his late friend and Marvel Cinematic Universe co-star Chadwick Boseman

"It's been tough. It's been tough for everybody. I think that highlights the power he had," Chris said about Chadwick's passing. "His cultural impact is just immeasurable. Not just as an artist, but as a man. The way he spoke, the way he carried himself. He bred an allegiance, he galvanized, he inspired. It's heartbreaking, it's tough, it's a process but his impact, his legacy is solidified forever."

Embarrassing accidents happen, Chris! But your loving and loyal fans always have your back!
