Edward Stack, chief executive officer of retailer DICK'S Sporting Goods, announced this morning that, regardless of local laws, their stores around the country would immediately end all sales of assault-style rifles, high capacity magazines, or any weapon to anyone under the age of 21.
"We at DICK's Sporting Goods are deeply disturbed and saddened by the tragic events in Parkland," says the released statement, calling for common sense gun reform. "Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims and their loved ones. But thoughts and prayers are not enough."
