Bridgerton came to Los Angeles recently, with a luxurious experience meant to transport fans of the show into a world similar to that of the popular Netflix series. And one fan’s journey to royalty at the event is going seriously viral.

The entire experience is set up as the Queen’s Ball, and at the end of each night, the Queen picks her diamond, which in the show is the most elevated debutante of the season.

@teaelani shared video of the moment her best friend, Matthea, was chosen as the diamond of the evening after they attended for her birthday. And it’s absolutely worth watching without commentary:

The joy and grace present in that moment quickly made the TikTok go viral, as people admired everything from Matthea’s ability to stay fully in character in the moment to her gorgeous dress — one her proud best friend informed everyone she designed herself.

Former Project Runway designer Gunnar Deatherage joked in the comments that this is “the only queer storyline Bridgerton will give us,” while another viewer more bluntly acknowledged that it’s “beautiful to see queer representation” like this in a casual setting.

Another person who has been paying attention to the videos coming out of the Queen’s Ball each night added that “every diamond [the actress portraying the Queen] has picked is just wonderful and unique.”

“Everyone deserves to feel like this at some time in their life, but nobody deserves [this] more than anyone who has challenged society to live their truth,” wrote @fabledbridge.
