Sharpe Suiting Needs Your Help to Bring Ready to Wear Androgynous Line to the Masses

Sharpe Suiting has long been on our radar for its ability to provide exemplary custom made suits tailored specifically for the genderqueer community. From transmen to butch lesbians, to everything in between, Sharpe Suiting set out to fill a need and service to our community. Since its launch just a year ago, Sharpe has created more than 100 tailored suits and through that process has mastered the unique concerns of measuring the queer community. 

Measuring  all of those queer (and sexy) bodies uniquely positions Sharpe Suiting as the premiere ready-to-wear clothing line marketed to genderqueer people for everyday wear.

Sharpe emphasizes the use of Andropometrics, a system that allows for the unique job of suiting traditional menswear on masculine of center bodies. 

I know I'm not the only butch lesbian who has felt extremely boxed in by men's shirts and completely drowned by men's pants. Not to mention traditional women's vests sometimes hug too much around the torso and hips. So the idea of this revolutionary measuring system that brings masculine sensibility to my features is a really exciting idea for people like me. 

And chances are, that idea also sounds good to you or to someone you love.  But Sharpe needs your help to make this ready-to-wear collection a reality. 

Sharpe Suiting launched its Kickstarter this week with a fundraising party in Downtown Los Angeles. No detail was spared. From handwritten invitations to a red-carpet step and repeat, it is clear that the team behind Sharpe Suiting has an approach to style that is beyond clothing. And have I mentioned that it was fun? 

Ultimately it is up to us as a community to decide who to support, and to create a space as unique as our needs.
