Today we bring you Cynthia Nixon, who announced -- at the Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally in New York City -- that she and her longtime girlfriend Christine Marinoni were engaged. Cynthia, a Tony Award winner best known for playing ascerbic Miranda for six seasons on Sex and the City, also said that she and Christine weren't hoppig borders to Connecticut or Canada to wed. They were waiting for New York to pass gay marriage! Good for Cynthia, and that's why she's today's dish!
