NBC on SheWired Video: 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Stay on Prop. 8

Monday, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals granted a stay on same-sex marriages in California. Just under two weeks ago, Judge Vaughn Walker returned a decision to overturn the hateful anti gay legislation Proposition 8. But before the celebrations could subside, as hopeful lesbian and gay couples made wedding plans, Judge Walker gave the pro Prop 8 side six days to appeal his decision, so they filed an appeal with the 9th Circuit court. 

Here is one couple affected by the game of hot potato that has come to define LGBT equality in the country.
