Senate Votes to Repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'

In a rare Saturday session, the senate has voted 63-33 to advance a bill to repeal "don't ask, don't tell." Repeal looked to be dead when Senate Republicans defeated a larger military spending bill earlier this month. But a stand-alone bill introduced by Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman and Republican Sen. Susan Collins garnered support from Republicans including Sen. Scott Brown, R- Mass., and Olympia Snowe, R- Maine.
