Shawnee Harkins Kicks Butt on Dr. Phil's "Ultimate Weight Loss Race"

Celebrity Fitness Trainer, and SheWired's fave fitness guru Shawnee Harkins is whipping everyone into shape --with lots of love of course. Be sure to tune in to watch her on Dr. Phil's The Ultimate Weight Loss Race, airing in early January on CBS.

The show focuses on 12 people -- of varying ages and all walks of life -- giving their all to losing weight and transforming their lives through mind, body and soul! This show is still in production and is currently airing nationwide. Shawnee is one of the show's featured trainers.

Her contestants are Joe and Lauren - the purple team -- 21-year-old twins who live in Manhattan. Lauren in an Executive Pastry Chef for a five-star hotel, and Joe is in school to become an accountant...however he shared with Shawnee on the show that he wants to go into FASHION...

This pair not only faces the challenge of losing weight on national TV, but also of allowing the nation to view their chaotic and dysfunctional sibling relationship. Lauren has DIVA qualities, and Joe is learning how to have a leg to stand on. So, Shawnee had her work cut out for her as their PERSONAL TRAINER, and sort of as their therapist, too.
