Pink showed her love for friend Britney Spears who is divorcing husband Sam Asghari.

Tough times are always easier with the support of friends!

Following Britney Spears’ announcement that she and her husband Sam Asghari are getting a divorce after only 14 months, Pink showed her support with a lyric switch-up at a concert earlier this week.

On August 16, the singer tweaked the lyrics to her popular song “Don’t Let Me Get Me” when she was performing in Detroit at Comerica Park as part of her marathon Summer Carnival Tour.

The original line of the pop song is “Tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears/ She’s so pretty that just ain’t me,” but Pink changed it up and instead sang “Sweet Britney Spears.”

In a fan video made of the concert and posted to social media, you can hear the audience saying “Aww.”

"People think I was picking on Britney on 'Don't Let Me Get Me,' but I've always felt like a big sister to her," Pink said in an interview with People magazine earlier this year. "I'm very protective of her, and she's the sweetest person in the world."

There have been accusations of a feud or bad blood between the two artists in the past, but Pink has frequently squashed the rumors and defended Spears in interviews.

On Thursday, Asghari, the 29-year-old model and fitness trainer, posted a statement about the divorce in his Instagram story, alluding to it being a mutual decision.

“After six years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” Asghari wrote. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Sh*t happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

The “Toxic” singer has yet to address the divorce publicly, but she did take to Instagram to tell her millions of followers that she’s planning on buying a horse by posting a photo of herself on horseback with the caption, “Buying a horse soon! So many options it’s kinda hard!”
