Eric Trump Throws A Fit On Social Media Over Judges Ruling In Fraud Case

The lesser-known Trump kid had a tantrum over daddy's fraud finally catching up to them.

While Eric Trump may be the lesser known of Donald Trump’s allegedly corrupt children, today he made his voice heard when he took to X (formerly Twitter) to rail against a New York judge's ruling.

Eric Trump took issue with Justice Arthur Engoron ruling on Tuesday that found that his father committed fraud by falsely valuing his properties, including his Mar-a-Lago resort and Trump Park Avenue in New York.

The judge found that Trump grossly overvalued Mar-a-Lago, having once claimed it was worth $1.5 billion. The ruling referred to a 2011-2021 valuation by the Palm Beach County Assessor that estimated Mar-a-Lago’s value between $18 million and $27.6 million.

So in response, baby Trump ran to social media claiming the system is corrupt—because we all know that rich white men can’t catch a break these days.

“In an attempt to destroy my father and kick him out of New York, a judge just ruled that Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach Florida, is only worth approximately ’18 Million dollars’…Mar-a-Lago is speculated to be worth we’ll over a billion dollars making it arguably the most valuable residential property in the country. It is all so corrupt and coordinated,” Eric Trump wrote in a post on X.

Tuesday’s ruling is part of New York Attorney General Letitia James’ $250 million lawsuit that alleges Trump, the Trump organization, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. were part of more than a decade's worth of fraud. The ruling, which allows the civil trial to start next week, says that Trump lied to banks and insurers by both falsely inflating and undervaluing his assets to lower his taxes and get better insurance coverage while also exaggerating his net worth by billions of dollars, according to The Hill.

In another ill-thought out X post, Eric Trump accused the Attorney General of trying to “destroy a man’s life.” Honestly, there's no need when they are so good at doing it themselves.

“Today, I lost all faith in the New York legal system. Never before have I seen such hatred toward one person by a judge – a coordinated effort with the Attorney General to destroy a man’s life, company and accomplishments. We have run an exceptional company – never missing a loan payment, making banks hundreds of millions of dollars, developing some of the most iconic assets in the world. Yet today, the persecution of our family continues…”

Then in a bid to distance himself from the corruption, Eric Trump wrote, “Both the Attorney General and the Judge know I had absolutely NOTHING to do with this case. Every single person has testified that my job has always been acquiring, developing and managing properties, not back office functions. The only reason I am collateral damage is because my last name is Trump and I am unwavering in the support of my father, his accomplishments and what he has done for our country, a nation which is now rapidly in decline.”

Despite his public pleas on social media, you’re going to want to get out the popcorn because the trial is slated to begin on Monday.
