Join comedian Murray Hill on Sunday, August 28th at The Knitting Factory - Brooklyn for Mr. Transman 2011.
The 2nd Annual FTM (female-to-male) competition will feature five diverse transman contestants competing for the 2011 title. A panel of celebrated personalities—including Jennie Livingston (Director and Producer of the film Paris is Burning)—will review the contestants in the Platform, Swimsuit, Interview, Talent, and Evening Wear categories. Additional talent at Transman 2011 will include: Schmekel (an all Jewish and trans punk band), Princess Tiny and the Meats (a political/genderfuck/performance art electronica band), and the 2010 Mr. Transman winner—spoken-word poet Kit Yan.
