Pentatonix Delivers The Only Pre-Thanksgiving Christmas Song You Need To Hear

This time of year means one thing: Penatatonix Christmas covers.

We know. Christmas music shouldn't really start cluttering your playlists until after Thanksgiving. But Pentatonix is giving us a really good reason to indulge a tad earlier than usual this year.

The group just released the YouTube vid for their latest single, "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," from the new Christmas album A Pentatonix Christmas.

A Pentatonix Christmas is the fourth album by the acapella five-some and also the group's second full-length holiday album since That's Christmas to Me came out in 2014. This new album doesn't only feature classic Christmas covers like "Gentlemen," but also two new original songs, "Good to Be Bad" and "The Christmas Sing-Along".

“We’re running out of Christmas songs fast,” joked the group's out and proud tenor Mitch Grassi back in 2015.

A lot of their success has to do with this time of year. Why do they think that is?

“I feel like people have been so used to listening to choirs during Christmas, so they love voices when it comes to Christmas, and that is exactly what we are," said the group's bass singer Avi Kaplan.

We're not complaining!

Also, take a listen to the group's dreamy rendition of Leonard Cohen's (who just passed away) sweet ballad Hallelujah:
