"Spirit" deserves an Oscar. There, we said it.

Disney's highly anticipated remake of The Lion King is hitting theaters in a matter of days, and as if we weren't already excited AF to relive one of our favorite childhood movies (in stunning, super-realistic CGI no less), one of the film's stars/queen of literally all media, Beyoncé, decided to bless the world with a new single AND an album for the film.

The Grammy winner and voice of Nala is producing and curating a musical project called The Lion King: The Gift, a compilation album inspired by The Lion King featuring a bunch of different artists (although we don't know who else is involved with the album just yet). She also dropped an anthemic new single last night entitled "Spirit," and after just one listen, we're suddenly inspired to live our best lives.

Of course, fans instantly fell in love, and some are already gearing up for the accolades it will surely be getting next award season.

Listen to "Spirit" below or wherever you stream music. And stay tuned for The Lion King: The Gift when it drops on July 19!

Catch The Lion King in theaters on July 19!
