Lauv & Conan Gray's Collab Is Our New Fave Anthem About Fake AF Exes

Got an ex who's fake and just loves attention? Lauv & Conan know how you feel!

Lauv and Conan Gray just released the music video for their newest collaboration, and maybe 2020 isn't as doomed as we thought it was...

Entitled "Fake," the LGBTQ+ ally and "i'm so tired" singer teamed up with Conan Gray (who blessed queer fans with "The Story" off of his debut album Kid Krow earlier this year) for an anthemic bop that's all about giving the middle finger to thirsty, fake exes.

"Calling me up when you’re getting drunk/You say you’re in love but what do you mean," Conan sings on his verse. "Cause when you wake up you blame it on drugs/And then we break up, you lie through your teeth."

"Cause you’re so fucking fake/You don’t mean a single thing you say," Lauv and Conan then sing together on the chorus. "If we’ve got a problem, say it to my face/And you’re just like all the people that you hate/You’re so fake."

Wow, a MOOD! We all have one or two (or even a few!) phoney, attention-seeking people in our lives, so we'll definitely be singing this new bop at the top of our lungs!
