Robert Bannon's new song and video for "I Think He Knew Me" is a sweet ode to family just ahead of Father's Day.
In the video, Bannon shows a supportive father who helped his son dress in green makeup and heels to be Elphaba on Halloween before either of them understood what being gay might've meant for him.
"This riveting video shows the relationship between a father and son where the son reveals to his father that he is gay," reads the press release. "The complicated situation is a heartfelt song about a father not understanding why his son is gay."
In just a week, the video has garnered over 20,000 views. It's certainly resonating with viewers. "What a tribute to your dad," one wrote on YouTube. "Beautiful song!"
