Doja Cat is the cover star of the spring issue of CR Fashion Book, dubbed “CR FRONT ROW.”

This upcoming issue of CR Fashion Book is slated to be a “celebration of Fashion Week and all the frenetic energy, hard work, and innovative creativity that comes with it.” In the images for the publication, Cat sports her iconic buzzcut while wearing fashion-forward clothes from luxury brands like Valentino, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, and Givenchy, among others.

For her profile, Cat was interviewed by Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Williams and even teased some new music that she’s currently working on.

“I’m very into this ’90s German rave kind of vibe right now and it’s really fun,” the singer revealed. “I know that’s kind of the trend at the moment, but I loved that stuff as a kid and now that I can express it (obviously, I couldn't buzz my head and wear a furry bra and have a belly button piercing back then), I’m sort of embracing that. That’s kind of a hint to the album. Rave culture, not house.”

Cat also talked about her ever-evolving sense of style. “I’ve just been so beaten up all the time, like I’m always getting shit glued to my face and my head… and wearing things that are so tight and so heavy and destructive,” she remarked. “So I would love to find a way to be more casual about it. And if I am going to do it heavy and destructive, I’m just gonna go even further.”

Looking back at her career, Cat recalled the 2020 EMAs as her first major red carpet moment. She wore Givenchy for that event and was grateful to the brand for the collaboration despite her still being an up-and-coming artist.

Cat is not only a music hitmaker but also a heavy-hitter when it comes to fashion and breaking boundaries. We love to see it!
